Bingo Night

Our ‘Friends’ Group are hosting a Bingo night on Friday 28th April at 7pm in the school hall as they continue with their fund raising initiatives for our school. Tickets are now available from Mrs Burns in the school office for raffle prizes which will be drawn on the night. They are priced at £1.00 per strip or 3 for £2.00.  There are prizes galore to be won and we hope you can attend.   The school playground will be open for parking but we would ask, in the interest of safety that children are not left outside in the playground on Friday evening as we expect there will be a lot of traffic.

After School Clubs for Term 3

We are delighted to be able to offer all our after school clubs again this term.  Fun club will now be on a Tuesday afternoon and Dance club on a Thursday for the next 7 weeks commencing on 2/5/17. Gardening Club will resume next Wednesday 3/5/17 for 4 weeks.

Jersey Appeal

A member of the parish is heading out to South Africa to visit St. Bernadette on the 16th May.   She has requested that the children from our school could donate any old jerseys and football shorts for the children who Sr. Bernadette works with.  If you have any old sports kit in your homes that you may wish to donate to this worthy cause please leave them in to school office.

Reminder – Road Safety

Our school playground is supervised by a teacher every morning from 8.40am.  We would ask all parents

to use this opportunity to drop children off and allow them to wait in the playground with their fellow classmates. This encourages independence and would reduce the amount of traffic at that busy time on the road outside the school gates. We are currently exploring different ways of solving the issues with the parking/drop off area at the front of the school. In the meantime, we ask parents not to mount footpaths and park directly in front of the school as it is making it unsafe for our children.
