Sports day was held on Friday 9th June.

We all had a great day, with lots of fun, laughter and of course….ICE CREAM!

Coin Trail

We had a coin trail around the school to help raise money for Trocaire.

Minibeast Playground

The children have been continuing to work on their Kids’Own art project, our latest development has been a wonderful playground for the Minibeasts.  Watch this space for pictures of the finished product!

World Book Day

The children dressed up as their favourite characters for World Book Day.

Millennium Court Arts Centre

Primary 4/5 visited the ‘You and I’ exhibition in Portadown on Friday the 24th of February. The children were excited to view the installation work our class Artist, Rhona Byrne, has been working on…and it was definitely worth the wait!

Miss B

Primary 4 & 5 have been extremely lucky to take part in the Kids’Own ‘Virtually there’ project this year.

We have been working with artist, Rhona Byrne. The children have had the opportunity to use the technology, blackboard collaborate, to ‘skype’ Rhona each week.

This project allows us to have an artist’s expertise in the classroom, despite the distance. Rhona is usually based in her studio in Dublin however she has even skyped us when she was in Los Angeles!

We enjoyed reading our favourite bed time stories with a lovely cup of hot chocolate. The children also had a book swap in addition to their own book sale in class!

We raised over £55.00 pounds for Trocaire.

Thank you to all parents for your continued support.
